I wake to the loud alarm clock piercing my eardrums as it goes off at 5 am every morning. Darkness and cold surround me, while I clutch on tight to my nice soft cover. I have a debate with myself whether to get up and start the day, or to stay in bed and lie here dead, it is like arguing in court trying to save an innocent man’s life. But as always, I get up, but not with a smile. I get up thinking of all the boring classes I must do, like math and its weird mix between numbers and alphabet which make me feel like I’m looking at a bowl of the alphabet and number soup my little brother eats, or Spanish when I look at the words that look like if I had dyslexia. When I get out of my blankets, I feel like I am in Antarctica and I will freeze to death. Getting up out of bed is so hard for me, I feel like I am fighting a lion that is not even there. Oh, my alarm just went off. Time to start the day.
