Its quiet out. The snow floats softy down onto the ground Enveloping the streets with its gentle touch. the world has become silent, and still. The sun has gone away for the day, And the moon takes its place, Illuminating the town with its warm glow When I open the door I am met with the icy rush, of January air. It numbs me, calming me, I look up into the endless night sky As, the flurries land on my face Like, Little kisses from mother nature And for just one moment, I am at peace with the world.
