The disciplined will push past pain and ache,
For running or training requires will.
The weak sees not growth but yearns for a break,
They seek comfort in rest for that’s their skill.
Pain is a part of the grueling process.
No one said it would be smooth and easy.
Physical and mental strength you possess,
For without them you will fall completely.
You sprint for the end but end grows not near.
Mistakes were made and you strike the rough ground.
Failure, a word that no one likes to hear,
Is experienced by all with few rebounds.
With the fall, you must crawl and get back up,
For there is a saying, “never give up.”
